Tahaki Reserve can be found on Mt Eden Rd, Mt Eden.  The park features a built-in covered stage with an area that can fit about 1000 people.  We’re looking to fill this park so make sure you keep the date available!  It’s going to be awesome!

Sun 9 March: Soul of the City Festival Fundraiser

This Soul of the City Festival Fundraiser is an opportunity for us all to give to the communities we live in.  The 4 Mayors of Auckland are being approached and asked to select a charity of their choice who will receive the funds raised.  Further information will be posted out to all the groups.

Following this Festival, join Bishop Pat and other WYD Pilgrims as we process the Blessed Sacrament from Aotea Square to St Patrick’s Cathedral in a public witness of our faith!

And when we get to the Cathedral we’ll be celebrating a World Youth Day Mass from 4.30pm – The theme for this Mass – “The Spirit Gives Life”

Pilgrimage to the Poynton's Grave

**This pilgrimage has been postponed until Days in the Diocese**

Thomas and Mary Poynton were the people to welcome Bishop Pompallier into their home for his very first Mass on New Zealand soil.  The pilgrimage is planned for the anniversary of the interment of Bishop Pompallier’s ashes.  Beginning with Mass at 1:00pm this pilgrimage will lead us to walk along the beach front to Belmont to the site of their graves.

Further information will be sent out closer to the date.  Please keep this date available to celebrate this link with our Catholic history in New Zealand
